West Mifflin, Allegheny County – On Thursday November 9, 2017 Bennie Carter a 51 year old from West Mifflin, Damon Gergely a 24 year old from North Huntingdon and Lindsay Vasko a 25 year old from Duquesne were arrested by the West Mifflin Police Department for the ROBBERY of R&M Variety Store on Pennsylvania Ave in West Mifflin. They are also suspects in several other robberies in the area as well as other communities and we anticipate additional robbery charges will be filed.
The investigation of this incident was greatly enhanced by the cooperation of the media, the public. We also collaborated with area Police and investigative units to narrow the suspects and eventually identified them as the persons responsible and obtained appropriate probable cause and warrants for arrest.
